A short but powerful case that the Modern Christian Gospel is a counterfeit that the original message of Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, regarding the call to Self Denial and Sexual Abstinence, has been ignored, but is pointed to by the included list of more than 100 New Testament Scriptures, which taken together, challenge modern thinking...
Have we been willingly misled to think that anything less than a pure, holy, godly, and obedient walk is required of those who would follow Jesus Christ? We say willingly misled because today's Churchianity loves its lusts; it loves being allowed to continue in them and being told that it's all right to do so. It propagates a false gospel that says that there is no possibility of perfection in this life, so we shouldn't bother to pursue it.
Have we been spoon-fed an adulterated, watered-down, corrupted, twisted, polluted, edited and abridged version of the gospel? . . .one that tickles our ears and lets us gratify our indulgent pleasures under a spiritual covering? Yes, we have. . . and we are now reaping the rewards of our having swallowed this counterfeit gospel hook, line and sinker. Now, in these Last Days, is the time for all who consider themselves to be Christians, to truthfully and painfully look at the state of their OWN hearts. . .for every one of us will be called to account for how we have spent our time.
Just exactly what does the New Testament say about the necessity for each of us to overcome the world just as Christ Jesus did? Are you interested in reading it for yourself? If you are not one of the herd of once a week Christians, if you know something is very, very wrong with the gospel message being preached in today's churches, if you are seeking the truth with all your heart and are willing to invest the time necessary to get to the bottom of the lies, then humbly request that the Lord will reveal to you the scope, depth and meaning of His true gospel a message that turned the world upside down almost 2000 years ago and a message that will do the same today when the truth is fully known !
- JOHN 14: 26
- But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
- JOHN 16:13-15
- When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for He will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that He will take what is mine and declare it to you.
- 1 JOHN 2:26-27
- I write this to you about those who would deceive you; but the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that any one should teach you; as His anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie, just as it has taught you, abide in Him.
- HEBREWS 8:11
- And they shall not teach every one his fellow or every one his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for all shall know me, from the least of them to the greatest.
Remember that Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, the only begotten Son of the Most High was our pattern, and our example. He called us to end our indulgences in fleshly lusts. He declared in His life the cutting off of the use of our bodies for physical generation. He said we must not defile ourselves or each other, that we must deny the desires of our flesh and He spoke of the necessity for the cleansing of our bodies both physically and spiritually that they might be made ready to be temples in which His Spirit could reside and be operative here and now on Earth.
He told us of the requirement for another kind of birth... a rebirthing, that must actually occur within us in order to be able to enter into the Kingdom of God which began to have a dominion once again in the realm of the Earth with His coming. He commanded us to acknowledge and confess each and every sin that is in us and to wholeheartedly enter into repentance, to acknowledge and surrender our idols, to deny the demands and cries of our passions, to deny our SELFishness, to take up our crosses of abstinence from worldly, fleshly, and devilish lusts and to overcome them just as He did.
He called us to learn to hear His voice and to walk in obedience to His commands, to purify ourSELVES,...to become holy just as He is Holy. His example allows no room for us to walk in any other way or for us to be proud of ourSELVES, to be proud of any person, or to be proud of any thing that we possess. On the contrary, His life's example calls us to be humble in all situations and to humble ourSELVES in submissive resignation to HIS Will just as He did, to His Father's Will.
The blessed scriptures, miraculously preserved for us and so easily available to us, tell us that we CAN be transformed into new creatures; we CAN become cleansed vessels worthy of our Master's use and capable of functioning as a part of His plans if we will only avail ourselves and enter into the Way that has been prepared for us.
If this is the desire of your heart of hearts, and you are willing to forsake SELF for that which HE would have you to be, then pray that there still be time enough for you to study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. You may be led to start your own exploration with the included list of scriptures. It is shared with you to help you to focus on what has been removed from the popular, easy-to-sell, counterfeit gospel of today.
Voices call to us from out of the past . . .We stand at an amazing distance from that state of perfection to which Christ Jesus has called us; though we have His infallible promise to be with us to the end of the world, to assist us with such power and strength from above, as to obtain, and do everything that we pray for, through a right faith in Him, and conformity to His laws and example.
God has always spoken to those who were listening, and the written record of their messages, although buried for centuries, is being rediscovered. Many such out-of-print Manuscripts are now freely available to seekers via the Internet, for those who are convicted to look beyond the popular modern gospel.
The miserable state of Christianity in America [and the world] today should be proof enough to every pastor, preacher, minister and priest who professes to teach the gospel that they must take responsibility and stand accountable before heaven and earth for the perversion and suppression of the complete gospel from the flocks that have looked to them for guidance.
All of us, shepherds and flock alike, must endeavor to convince ourselves that we have not yet been Christians in true earnest; that we have only professed Christ with the tempers of Jews and heathens; that we have not yet entered into the narrow Way that leads to life; that we have not yet enough renounced the world; not enough denied ourselves; not enough emptied our hearts of passions hurtful to piety; not enough renounced such fashions, customs, and conformities to the world, as greatly corrupt the heart, and grieve and separate the Holy Spirit from it; not enough prayed and desired that we might be truly born again of God by the awakening and quickening of the incorruptible seed of Divine Life in our souls, so that Christ may be truly said to be formed in us; not enough prayed, and desired to be everywhere, and on all occasions, under the perpetual influence and guidance of the Holy Spirit, that we may think, and say, and do everything by His Holy Inspiration;
. . . We pray that these words, written by William Law over 250 years ago, confirm to your heart what your inward Teacher, that still, small voice has been showing you about the errors of your own walk. We thank God he has preserved the Scriptures and the old writings through those who had clearer minds and far less distractions than our frantic, modern life-styles afford us. We have been fed and nourished by the meat to be found there, and we urge you, dear brethren, to study it out for yourself with Him alone in your quiet time. Leave off reading the modern books currently being hyped by the media of commercial Churchianity [who delights in making merchandise of the things of God] and take time to explore the old Manuscripts that have only recently become available.
A light is beginning to dawn . . . There is no free ride into the Kingdom of God. There is NO SALVATION without confession of and repentance from ALL of your sins. . . not just the easy ones. You must now do YOUR part to prepare for Kingdom Sonship; for the Lord Jesus Christ has done and always will be doing HIS. You must listen to Him directly beginning with His Word; let HIM teach you now instead of running to other people. You MUST enter upon the narrow, the hard, and the inward Way, if you are to finish the race!
Dear awakening friend, the Lord has been waiting all of your life for you to get on with the work that must be done within you... The whole Creation waits with eager longing for the revelation of the Sons of God. Isn't it time that you gave top priority to the real reason that you are here on planet Earth?...We agree with you that the time is surely right... in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Who is and was and is to come, the Alpha and Omega,...Amen.
